How do you know what a specific jurisdiction requires?
We research the plan check checklist and submittal requirements for every jurisdiction at the start of the project. For jurisdictions we have worked with before, we have an established format. For new ones, we obtain the requirements from the building department before starting.
Do you prepare the energy compliance documentation?
For US projects we include Title 24 compliance documentation (California) or IECC compliance notes as required by the jurisdiction. For other countries we follow the relevant energy standard.
Can you prepare permit sets for projects in other countries?
Yes. We have produced permit-equivalent packages for projects in Australia (NCC), the UAE (Dubai Municipality), and the UK (Building Regulations). We research the local submission format in each case.
What if the permit reviewer asks for corrections?
We handle plan check correction responses as part of the service. We review the correction letter, address each item and re-issue the affected sheets at no additional charge for comments arising from our drawing errors.
